15% carbon PTFE tube supplier

As a specialized 15% carbon PTFE tube supplier, we manufacture extruded and sintered fluoropolymer tubing for seal, bearing, bushing, and wear-ring applications where dimensional stability under load is critical. The 15% carbon filled PTFE tube for seal is produced with a precisely controlled 15% carbon powder dispersion in a virgin PTFE matrix, which significantly reduces cold flow and increases compressive strength compared with unfilled PTFE. This same material platform is offered as carbon reinforced PTFE tubing for structural inserts, wear pads, and guide rings, and as PTFE carbon tube dynamic application tubing for reciprocating or rotary shafts, valve stems, and piston rods. In dry-running or poorly lubricated conditions, the high wear carbon PTFE tube delivers longer service life and lower friction than glass-filled or bronze-filled alternatives. Our tubes are ram-extruded or isostatically molded, sintered under controlled temperature profiles, and centerless ground to tight dimensional tolerances. The list below outlines the general dimensional and material scope.

When design teams specify 15% carbon PTFE tube for high-cycle, high-load, or chemically aggressive duties, the key benefit is a step change in dimensional stability without sacrificing PTFE’s inherent low friction, non-stick surface, and broad chemical resistance. The 15% carbon loading raises thermal conductivity to approximately 0.45 W/m·K, enabling frictional heat to dissipate far more efficiently than virgin PTFE, which helps prevent localized overheating in dry-running bushings, lip seals, and thrust washers. This material operates continuously from -200°C to +260°C and withstands nearly all industrial chemicals, including strong acids, caustics, solvents, and oxidizing media; the main exceptions are molten alkali metals and elemental fluorine at elevated temperatures. It also offers very low moisture absorption, excellent dielectric strength, and good wear behavior without requiring external lubrication. Typical end uses include hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder components, pump wear rings, valve seats, compressor guide rings, food-processing bushings, and electrical insulators. The table below summarizes the mechanical, thermal, and physical values used for design verification, incoming inspection, and supplier qualification.
