The material combines virgin PTFE resin with a precisely dispersed 20% carbon fiber filler by weight. This filler increases compressive strength, reduces creep and cold flow, and improves thermal conductivity by roughly three to five times compared with unfilled PTFE. In practice, that means longer service life for bushings, wear rings, piston seals, valve seats, and dynamic seal applications. 20% Carbon Fiber PTFE Tube is manufactured under ISO 9001 quality control and inspected for inner diameter, outer diameter, wall thickness, ovality, and surface defects before packaging. The carbon fiber filler gives the tubing a dark gray to black appearance and a slightly textured surface that improves wear compatibility with soft metals, ceramics, and hard-coated shafts. Because the filler lowers electrical resistance, the tube dissipates static charges that can accumulate in dry powder conveying, fuel transfer, and solvent-handling systems. Typical applications include hydraulic cylinder wear rings, rotary shaft bushings, chemical pump thrust washers, valve stems, and food-processing guide rails that require a non-lubricated, wear-resistant surface. For high-volume production, the tubing can be supplied in long lengths for in-house machining, or we can provide finished components with CNC precision to reduce scrap and assembly time. The carbon-filled PTFE grade is generally not recommended for contact with strong oxidizing agents such as molten alkali metals or elemental fluorine at high temperatures, but it performs well in most industrial fluid and gas environments. All products are cleaned, deburred, and individually wrapped in protective film to prevent surface damage during transit.
