As a dedicated bronze filled PTFE bushing manufacturer with over 20 years of engineering experience, we supply precision bearing solutions to customers in more than 40 countries. Our manufacturing process combines high-grade spherical bronze powder, PTFE compounds, and steel backings to create bushings that perform reliably under high loads, low speeds, and harsh conditions. The bronze filled PTFE bushing for rotating shaft is engineered for continuous rotary motion in pumps, motors, and gearboxes. For applications where external lubrication is impractical, our self lubricating bronze PTFE bearing bushing delivers maintenance-free dry running. When impact loads and edge stresses are present, the PTFE bronze bushing heavy duty series provides a robust metal-polymer bond that resists extrusion. In abrasive environments, our wear resistant PTFE bushing with bronze extends component life through a densified bronze matrix and a low-friction PTFE running layer. All bushings are machined to ISO 3547 tolerances and undergo comprehensive friction and wear testing before leaving the factory.
The bronze filled PTFE bushing is manufactured through a multi-stage powder metallurgy process. Spherical bronze powder is spread onto a steel backing, compacted, and sintered under a controlled atmosphere to create a porous bronze layer. This layer is then vacuum-impregnated with a PTFE-based compound containing anti-wear additives and friction modifiers. After impregnation, the bushing is calibrated to final dimensions, and the PTFE surface is machined to a thickness of 0.02–0.05 mm. The result is a maintenance-free bearing element with high mechanical strength and excellent sliding properties.
The table below lists the primary technical parameters for our standard bronze filled PTFE bushing series:

| Max static load | 140 | N/mm² |
| Max dynamic load | 80 | N/mm² |
| Max sliding speed (dry) | Up to 2.5 | m/s |
| Friction coefficient (dry) | 0.04 – 0.12 | — |
| Operating temperature | -200 to +280 | °C |
| Hardness (HB) | 60 – 90 | — |
| PTFE layer thickness | 0.02 – 0.05 | mm |
| Surface roughness of mating shaft | Ra 0.2 – 0.4 | μm |
The bushing is available in cylindrical, flanged, and thrust washer designs. Standard sizes cover inner diameters from 10 mm to 300 mm, with wall thicknesses from 1 mm to 5 mm. Custom dimensions, metric or inch, can be produced within 7–15 working days. Dimensional control follows ISO 3547 and DIN 1494 standards, and each batch is verified for load capacity, friction coefficient, and PTFE bonding strength.
Common applications include hydraulic pumps and motors, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, textile machines, and food processing equipment where grease-free operation is required. The bronze filled PTFE bushing performs exceptionally well in high-load, low-speed scenarios such as kingpins, pivot joints, and linkage bearings. When installed in a housing with the recommended interference fit, the bushing provides stable performance without fretting corrosion or shaft scoring. When pressing the bushing into a housing, a chamfer of 15°–30° is recommended on the housing bore to prevent PTFE layer damage. After installation, a sizing operation can be performed to restore the inner diameter to the desired clearance. The recommended mating shaft hardness is HRC 45–60, and the shaft surface finish should be ground or polished to achieve optimal wear life.
Tribological testing is conducted on a pin-on-disc apparatus according to ASTM G99 to verify the friction and wear behavior of each PTFE compound. Load capacity is validated using a hydraulic press with a 100 kN load cell, and PTFE adhesion is tested by cross-cut peel strength measurement. These procedures ensure that every bushing meets the specified performance before being released for dispatch. We also maintain a traceability system that links each production batch to its raw material certificates and sintering furnace records, providing full transparency for quality audits.
For OEM customers, we offer custom packaging, private labeling, and just-in-time delivery. Each bushing is cleaned, oil-free, and wrapped in anti-corrosion paper before packing. Our manufacturing facility holds ISO 9001 certification and uses automated sintering lines to ensure batch-to-batch consistency. Samples are available for friction testing and dimensional validation.
