The PTFE gasket sheet with silica filler is manufactured in standard sheet dimensions of 1500 mm × 1500 mm, with thicknesses from 0.5 mm to 6.0 mm. Its density ranges from 2.1 to 2.3 g/cm³, and the silica content is controlled between 15% and 25% by weight to balance flexibility with dimensional stability. Operating temperature range spans -200°C to +260°C, with short-term excursions up to 300°C. The material exhibits a tensile strength of ≥12 MPa, elongation at break of ≥200%, and hardness of 60–65 Shore D. Compressibility measures 8–12%, recovery is ≥40%, and sealability is rated at <0.1 cm³/min under DIN 3535. These properties make the PTFE gasket sheet with silica filler suitable for acids, alkalis, solvents, steam, and hydrocarbons.

The silica filler improves dimensional stability under load, reduces creep, and increases the material's resistance to deformation in flanged joints. It also provides enhanced torque retention and lower gas permeability compared to unfilled PTFE. This sheet is commonly used in chemical processing, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and food processing equipment where aggressive media and thermal cycling demand a durable, long-lasting seal. Each sheet is supplied with a smooth surface finish, is easy to cut into gaskets of any shape, and is available with or without adhesive backing.
