15% Ekonol® Aromatic Polyester Filled PTFE Tube

15% Ekonol® Aromatic polyester filled PTFE tube is made of 15% Ekonol polyester powder blended with 85% PTFE. Ekonol® aromatic polyester filler is a tan white powder additive that, when combined with PTFE, the Ekonol® Aromatic polyester filled PTFE produces composite materials with excellent temperature and wear resistance for a wide range of mating surfaces in demanding services.

15% Ekonol® Aromatic polyester filled PTFE tube has maximum dimensional, chemical and thermal stability. In addition, the non-abrasive character of Ekonol filler enhances the frictional performance to prevent galling of softer mating surfaces better than other PTFE filler.

Features and Benefits:

15% Ekonol® Aromatic polyester filled PTFE tube has highly crystalline structure, allowing thermal stability, good creep resistance and& excellent load-bearing capacity. It has good lubricity and chemical resistance (except to sulfuric acid and strong alkalis).

Applications

15% Ekonol® Aromatic polyester filled PTFE tube is used for high temperature pump and valve components, wear resistant seals in aggressive environments.
