What is 20% Ekonol® Aromatic Polyester Filled PTFE Bush?

20% Ekonol® aromatic polyester filled PTFE bush is is made of 20% Ekonol polyester powder blended with 80% PTFE. Ekonol® is an aromatic polyester. Ekonol gives PTFE better properties at higher temperatures, makes it more wear-resistant and does not wear out in the steel counter material. Therefore, PTFE with Ekonol is very suitable for rotary applications. It is also suitable for Food applications. Especially suitable for applications with soft counter materials such as aluminum.

Advantages

20% Ekonol® aromatic polyester filled PTFE bush can be used whereas glass fillers can be abrasive, Ekonol fillers' round particle shape will not wear soft metal surfaces. Additionally, ekonol with PTFE blends resist self-wear better than other PTFE compositions, with good lubricity on molded parts.
