What is 15% Graphite Filled PTFE Rod?

15% graphite filled PTFE rod is made of 15% graphite with 85% PTFE. It is a compound with excellent thermal- and electrical conductivity. Used For antistatic linings and bearings. It has an excellent combination of properties Typical of the PTFE fluoropolymer resins.

15% graphite filled PTFE rod has improved thermal dimensional stability, good chemical stability, improved deformation under load, good thermal conductivity, improved compression strength, improved surface hardness, low friction behaviour, limited wear rate, exceptional temperature resistance and Improved sliding properties

Service Temperature:

15% graphite filled PTFE rod offers excellent resistance to continuous service temperatures – working conditions from -200° C up to 250°C.

Typical application

In mechanical field 15% graphite filled PTFE rod is used for pumps, mixers, compressors, wear bands, in appliances, in automotive lip seals, slides and solenoid valves and where electrical insulation is not required.
