For heavy equipment operators and hydraulic system builders, selecting the right bearing material is critical when radial loads are constant or shock loads are frequent. Our 60% bronze filled PTFE tube for extreme load is formulated to handle these conditions without the cold flow common in unfilled PTFE. As an experienced 60% copper PTFE tube supplier, we also maintain full control over high content bronze PTFE tubing production, ensuring consistent density and filler distribution in every batch. This material is proven in the field as a heavy duty bronze PTFE tube for hydraulic cylinder service, where low friction and high load capacity must work together.
The Max Load Bronze Filled PTFE Tube is produced by compression molding a homogeneous mixture of virgin PTFE and 60% bronze powder. The high filler content significantly increases compressive strength and reduces deformation under load compared with standard PTFE tubing. At the same time, the material keeps the low-friction surface and broad chemical compatibility that PTFE is known for, making it suitable for both hydraulic and industrial bearing applications.
Key product parameters are listed below.
The following table gives typical material performance values for the Max Load Bronze Filled PTFE Tube based on laboratory testing and ASTM methods.

| Specific gravity | ASTM D792 | 3.6 g/cm³ |
| Hardness | ASTM D2240 | 65 Shore D |
| Tensile strength | ASTM D4894 | 16 MPa |
| Elongation at break | ASTM D4894 | 120% |
| Compressive strength at 10% strain | ASTM D695 | 48 MPa |

The Max Load Bronze Filled PTFE Tube is available in outside diameters from 20 mm to 300 mm and wall thicknesses from 5 mm to 50 mm, with standard lengths up to 1000 mm. Custom lengths and machined parts can be supplied to customer drawings. Typical machining tolerances are ±0.05 mm on outside diameter and ±0.10 mm on length, with surface roughness Ra 0.8 μm achievable on finished surfaces. The material can be cut, turned, drilled, and milled using standard carbide tooling, which reduces setup time for maintenance workshops.
Under continuous load of 20 MPa at room temperature, the Max Load Bronze Filled PTFE Tube shows less than 1.5% deformation after 24 hours. In cyclic loading tests at 15 MPa, the tube remained crack-free after 50,000 cycles. This makes it a practical choice for hydraulic cylinder wear rings, press guide bushings, and pivot bearings in construction or mining equipment. The tube can also be grooved to improve lubricant retention and heat dissipation in high-cycle applications. Each production batch is marked with lot number and date for traceability, and finished parts are packed with corrosion protection for safe transport.
